You know you had a good state visit when headlines like President proves a less than cordial guest pop up. Chirac met with Blair over issues regarding the EU and its defense force. It went so well that Britain threatens veto on EU proposals for a new constitution for the EU rather than give up national powers over defense, foreign policy, and taxation. Why would England even consider giving up power to an entity powered by France/Germany? The EU as a world power is not going to work. * The Sun lead op blasting Chirac for even setting foot in England. * The racial problems in France is growing fast, Guardian on the problems in France caused by disaffected Arab youths. The youths see the Jews are being better off than them. * Quote from a party to celebrate Howard Dean birthday in philadelphia. "It's almost Stalinist. We're out celebrating the birthday of this guy," joked Jim Savage, 39. Ah yep. * They don't make Burglars like they use too. *

Interesting developments from Bush's visits to England, of course the image of the President in Europe among the elitists lefties is the shooting up Cowboy who can barely say two words. But after the visit even the left papers have to admit although they hate to say it out loud, that image is not true. * Bush met with the families of the British dead forces and it seemed to change some opinions of him if not the war. * Finally, the goofs who think that the Islamic terrorists and terrorism itself can be talked to , if you deal with the root causes or whatever emotional nonsense they can think of realize that these are killers who want a version of the world where their way is followed or you die. Andrew Rawnsley in the Guardian no less lays it out. * Barbara Amiel at the Telegraph wrote a piece about the passive fight against militant Muslims by "moderate" Muslim groups in Britain, here in America, there is C.A.I.R who follows the same pattern. They say they doing their best to fight it and issue press releases condemning terrorists acts. But its always the "yeah we condemn this just like Israel/Palestine, America going into Afghanistan and Iraq and also Al-Qaida, so you end up with a nothing statement. Grow some backbone, or shut up. Speaking of which, UK Foreign Office minister Denis MacShane did just that saying UK Muslim leader need to be more clear in their condemnation of terror acts, so what was the reaction from some groups? "Inayat Bunglawala, spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain, said: "The Muslim community has consistently condemned terrorism and we condemn this latest attack on the British consulate and HSBC in Turkey." He said: "The attacks only emphasize that the disastrous war in Iraq has not reduced the risk of terrorism, as our own governments had us believe beforehand, but has exacerbated it. "We do not need lectures from a representative of a government that has conducted an unlawful war against Iraq". Backbone people BACKBONE! *Interesting article in weekly standard about the targets of the bombings in Saudi Arabia, while the rest of the world papers said it was Al-Qaida targeting fellow Muslims, the area was actually Lebanese Christian neighborhood. That said it still follows in the Al-Qaida mode of attacking "infidels" unless you are going to follow their version of Islam, you are a target. *Howard Dean, who in my opinion wouldn't have a leg to stand on if he had competent opponents is now reaching out for the black vote, referring to his campaign as a rainbow..... Oh wonderful. As a black person, all I have to say is what the hell are people smoking out there? If the liberal press wasn't so busy trying to prop up Dean as the savior, his political record is absolutely laughable, the guy is the perfect example of the euro-weenie socialist. He panders even worse than Clinton did, at least Clinton was able to disguise it a bit. BTW, anyone really believe his favorite artist is Wyclef Jean? In the coming weeks, being the pretentious person that I am. I am setting up a site which shows how Howard Dean is just plain awful for America, unless you are one of these leftists hoping to move our economic system to say early Stalin Mother Russia. * Dell is returning some jobs they outsourced to India back to America due to customer complaints of poor quality of phone based tech support. I think you will see a thread where more companies are going to do that since at some point cost/hassle/ and customer relations are going to sour to the point where it just needs to be done in the States. *

Germany to see high Unemployment in 2004, with a growth rate of 1.5%, but if they get first group of tax cuts thru, it grows at 1.7%. Amazing that even the socialists countries of Germany/France see that cutting taxes help. Someone tell the democrats. Protestors going to the FreeTrade Area of the Americas conference in Miami are already complaining that the Miami Dade Police is harrassing them and they are scared. Suck it up! You are anarchists for christ sakes. Just because Miami Dade Police will not put up with anything unlike the Seattle cops a couple of years ago and may have quick arresting tendencies, don't be scared. Word of advice, if a Miami-Dade Cop says move, move. Ivory Coast Peace is in huge trouble, west african leaders are asking for a UN peacekeeping force, that ought to help. France and Germany are trying to get a Franco-German union going to try and blunt the influence of the other countries coming into the EU next year. Pathetic, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice is a murderer! I expect this sort of garbage from a cartoonist like Aaron McGruder but the head of the NAACP should act with just a smidge of class. People wonder why I don't subscribe to liberal black causes being from the west indies, hell I don't want to associate myself with people like this.

EUObserver: EU is going to pump 62 Billion Euros into the EU economy to try and jumpstart that flagging economy. good luck. EU is going to try and stop illegal immigration with a new agency that starts in 2005, and if to scare people, Germany is going to run all the land borders. The Whiny paper of British leftists, Guardian with a comment on why George Bush is in United Kingdom. Typical hit piece, and they really really hate Bush in Euro, he offends their elitists sensibilities, which is a good thing. If at any time, any US politician makes the Euroweenies happy, thats when you run the other way. BBC is hiring a Middle East bias editor to make sure it coverage is fair. This is a 24 hour job. Paul Bremer came back for a meeting with members of Adminstration to see how to speed up transfer of power to the Iraqis.

Al-Qaida according to a report by the Control Risks Group in London due to high profile arrests and other counter-terrorism operations has been largely dismantled. The conclusion part is worrying because what is left is going to be harder to find and destroy. IraqPress: Indian goverment wants to go ahead with the contracts it signed with Saddam for business in the Iraqi oil and railway industry. They also want to help in the development of the oil industries, reconstruction programs, basically billions of dollars worth of stuff. Economist: going by the title "A nation apart" in the economist no less, you would expect a rip job, but its the opposite. The graph is what shocked me. Who knew so many people hated being French? American Spectator: John Kerry, Richard Gephardt and John Edwards are trying everything in their power to try and slow down Howard Dean and its not working. Wash Post: Iran is harshly rebuked by IAEA for hiding their nuclear program from inspectors and for numerous breaches in its nuclear treaty obligations. That out of the way, I am sure Iran will not continue this program now that the UN has found them out....... what?

From this pic I don't know what is happening but Al has the " whatever" look on his face. Interesting story which fleshes out the details of the bombing in the Al-Mansur neighbourhood where Saddam was supposed to be when the bomb hit, but he figured out something was wrong. It does seem to answer questions on why there was so much confusion in the Iraqi Army, given the fact people were working for America. Howard Dean: Article on Howard Dean's classism attitude towards the south, had a feeling as soon as he stepped out of the liberal north and actually tried to act like a national candidate he would stumble. But telling Southern Voters to quit basing their votes on "race, guns, God and gays." is just stupid. The Perfect Liberal Storm Charles Krauthammer lays out how Dean got himself caught up in PC trap. Canada: Toronto seems to be going thru an escalation in violence and the police chief says the justice system as it stands now is not working. Original Star Wars DVD coming out September 2004 according to DigitalBits.whooooo hoooo!

Hola! Germany sacked the commander of their special forces for sending a letter agreeing with a German MP who said Jews are a nation of perpetrators. Hold the German jokes please. France denies they assured Saddam that the United States would not invade by means of diplomatic moves, lesson here is don't trust France. Germany putting forth a plan that could kill the EU stability pact. Germany doesn't fear getting any fines or sanctions, the smaller countries are resigned to the fact Germany will get its way along with France who also got a break with its promise of spending cuts in 2004. The pact is dead and the EU looks foolish. GOP got two governorship in Kentucky and Mississippi Terry McAuliffe said that this was proof that the GOP is being thrown out by the American people and it shows Bush he is in trouble... Democrats really need to get this fool out of power and any other clinton holdovers to get back in some form. Russia's president Vladimir Putin again said that Russia has the right to preemptive military strikes because America has the same policy. Ananova brings the quirky stories: Doctors find plant growing in boy's nose Never ever anger a pregnant woman, frankly her husband deserved it, not that I approve of member cutting. BUT, he was asking for something. Man gets fired from his job because he missed work while stranded on a mountain for 5 days only eating snow to survive. Hey, he was still on probabtion period.

Some Iraqi stuff, the most interesting is that CIA and FBI now have a boatload of files from the former Iraqi Intelligence Service, so much that laid end to end would be 9.5 miles long. It contains names of agents, politicians in the middle east and aboard who were paid to shill for Saddam and Iraq. Names people, We need names, let the scandals erupt! My Home state Senator and badly runned campaigning one-time presidential-candidate Bob Graham is retiring and that has sent the state political hopefuls into a frenzy. Not one of them worth a damn though. The biggest name is Mayor of Miami Alex Penelas who I think of as shady, already stating he can bring in the latin vote, which may or may not work in his favor due to his behavior during the whole Ellian fiasco a couple of years back, plus ignoring Al Gore in 2000. CBS according to the drudgereport has moved the Reagan mini-series from CBS to Showtime to show uncut, basically no one is going to watch it. It looks like Summer Redstone stepped in and said enough making the move. All the reports said the movie was just an abomination from the acting to the script with lines attributed to Reagan he never said. It was pitched as a love story and just turned into something political to the point it made people angry. Guardian is running a hit piece..I mean a hard hitting investigative report on the lack of health care insurance titled "Land where calling an ambulance is first step to bankruptcy" of course the conclusion from Eurowriter is that America business interests are refusing to buckle under to create some sort of affordable health care system. The solution implied is...wait for it... higher taxes! Of course anyone take a look over at Europe, France and Germany health care system is such a mess drastic reforms are needed which of course the socialists raised population fear and don't want. England system is slow and not all that great. But hey, lets go the socialists route. Governor Arnold hired Donna Arduin as California's budget chief, she was Florida's budget chief and did a great job cutting out the pork. On a sidenote, THANKFULLY, the Miami Hurricanes even after that embrassing loss to the Hokies are still #4 in the BCS rankings Now if they can get Brock Berlin to play something resembling a Quarterback, they can still make something of this year. Reality Show fiasco: Premise: 6 guys, one transsexual, the guys don't know until the end when the transsexual picks the winner lifts her skirt to reveal the truth.. Lawsuits, one producer getting punched out and sexual assault charges being thrown about.. This show MUST get on the air. France's Lutte Ouvrière (Workers' Struggle) and the Communist Revolutionary League, two Trotskyist parties have joined forces and made the mainstream socialists party very unhappy because it takes away votes from them and the right wing is happy because they know this is trouble for the left. France also escaped budget sanctions by promising to make spending cuts in 2004 to come back in line with EU's stability pact which says you must keep budget deficits at 3% of their GDP. yeah.. that will happen.

Fine time to start this blog, I hope for money/fame and lots of females to come from this. email: ripclawe@yahoo.com America! Bloomberg: US Retailers because of "income tax cut, low interest rates and rising stock prices" are more optimistic about the holidays this year than last year. But I am getting annoyed that Christmas decorations are now on sale after labor day, couple of more years, the decorations will be on sale year round. One of the big stories is this upcoming Reagan mini-series that has grown out of control, it seems that it was pitched as a love story, liberal producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron then politicized the whole thing to the point where people are trying to distance themselves from it, Barbra Streisand who reported by Drudge to be all over the series, her husband James Brolin plays Ronald Reagan, said she wasn't that involved and knew nothing of its content, Bela Bajaria, CBS VP of miniseries is being blamed for it, Patty Davis may put out a statement over what is seen as major liberties taken with the story of Ronald and Nancy. The movie itself is being edited over and over and according to Newsweek story could be sold to Showtime. Caribbean Nice to see in the 10+ years I left Trinidad, the murder rate has gotten to the point where its now ranked in the most deadly places in the world and they can go even higher in the rankings by year's end. Keep striving to be number one! EUROPE In Germany 100,000 protestors came out to complain about the reforms set by German government who wants to drastically reform the social programs(cradle to grave) loving that germans have become so used too. The solution given by Michael Prutz, spokeman for the Berlin Social Forum? Tax the rich of course. Somewhere Russia and China are thinking its going to be easy to pass the EU as a economic power. Silly people don't see how badly the socialists programs have hurt the global competitiveness of Germany. France is in an even worse leaking boat than Germany, and these countries are supposed to power the EU. Good luck. In Iraqi news, the tragic killing of the 15 troops in the chopper attack has set the leftists papers in a tizzy, as in their view dead soldiers makes for great news. My favorite foreign lefty paper is the Guardian, and they dragged all the loonies out of bed. Resistance is the first step towards Iraqi independence is the perfect example of the loony people who want to safeguard the "poor downtroded and helpless" Iraqi people, Tariq even suggests that under Saddam, Iraqis were much better off. European lefty elistists views of America is hysterical if you downplay the fact they actually believe the stuff they write, They hate George Bush, so you get these amusing hard hitting investigative pieces "Long queue at drive-in soup kitchen" speaking of the new disaster waiting America, the new growing poverty crisis! Where people are so poor like in the rest of the world they go thru a drive in church run food line. I bet those starving poor people in Liberia have the same problems of waiting in the drive thru lane to get food. "The ranks of the hungry are increasing in step. About 31 million Americans were deemed to be "food insecure" (they literally did not know where their next meal was coming from). Of those, more than nine million were categorised by the US department of agriculture as experiencing real hunger, defined by the US department of agriculture as an "uneasy or painful sensation caused by lack of food due to lack of resources to obtain food." " People, you cannot read this stuff and not go eh? France and Germany! are going to break the EU rule of not having budget deficits above 3% of their GDP. This will go on till about 2006. On the other hand, Holland and Austria are furious that it looks like Germany/France will escape the penalities of breaking the deficits rules again and in the future. So they want the rules enforced, Gerhard Schröder, German chancellor really doesn't want to have to do progress reports according to the Financial Times to Brussels(EU Headquarters) and get economic instructions on how to handle the German economy. Add to that Italy, Portugal and Luxembourg want to have a flexible "interpretation" of the stability pact and you have a big ole mess waiting to explode today When the EU commission try to figure all this out, not have the pact, the EU look like its built on a house of cards with rules countries can just get away with it anytime they want. France is also getting hit with 9.7% unemployment rate and no hope in sight for an economic recovery anytime soon, despite some optimistic predictions by the French Government and IMF.
