Media: Mickey Kaus blasts Andrew Sullivan.

Sullivan has many virtues, but steadiness of judgment is not one of them. This isn't a man you want to follow into battle. Unfortunately, many Americans did. ... It's not as if something happened in the past week that made the Iraq situation look darker than it did last Friday. More the opposite so far, I'd say.
Andrew Sullivan gets snarky and defensive right back

" Well that's great, that's just fu**kin' great man. Now what the f**k are we supposed to do? We're in some real pretty s**t now man... That's it man, game over man, game over! What the f**k are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do?

...drags in Instapundit, Powerline and the Belmont Club for not being hysterical as he has become, accusing them of being the No Bad News Blogs. Sullivan's Private Hudson reply to the criticism only bolsters Kaus's observation. Sullivan used to have informative analysis, but over the last year, it has become emotional spur of the moment tirades with little thinking behind them on most subjects, Iraq is just one of them. More thoughts from Ace of Spades and Powerline responds.
