UK: The Muslim council of Britain reiterated its opposition to attending the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz death camp and demanded the day change to "Genocide Memorial Day"

"We are not belittling the Holocaust. We share the immense pain and anguish felt in the Jewish community about the Holocaust, but feel Britain is a multi-faith country and everyone should be involved," Bunglawala said.
Translation: "...and if we can figure out a way to water down an event that mainly deals with Jews, we will do so..." If you want a "Genocide Memorial Day" then petition the government to set aside another day of the year. This is a specific event for a terrible time in the world's history. I said it before, this is an embarrassment and hideous slap to all Muslims that they claim to represent. It make Muslims look petty and vindictive.
