James Brown slams modern music

Entertainment: Damn right, none of these fools could hang with Brown.

Soul legend JAMES BROWN has attacked on modern hip hop and R+B, claiming new artists have none of the "vitality, vigour or dynamics" from his day. The 72-year-old claims technology has replaced talent and encourages laziness. He says, "The new school have a way of doing things with computers but they never really do things themselves. It's all done before they get there. "I still prefer to do things the old way, manually. I like to work from the heart and sweat, so you really know it came from a human being."
