Another reason to slam the Mexican border down.

Mexico: This will make the drug wars down there even worse and after our border towns.

(AP) SAN DIEGO San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders says he's "appalled" by Mexico's move to decriminalize marijuana, cocaine and other illicit drugs in small quantities. He predicts the liberalized laws could increase drug abuse and border problems in the United States. Mexico's Congress approved a bill Friday decriminalizing possession of small quantities of drugs for personal use, including cocaine, heroin and marijuana. President Vicente Fox is expected to sign it. Several state officials also expressed concern over the vote. Governor Schwarzenegger's chief spokeswoman, Margita Thompson, said, "The governor will always do everything he can to ensure the public safety of all Californians."
